Edward Reilingh is an associate at Clifton Budd & DeMaria, LLP. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department’s Special Federal Litigation Division. In that role, Edward defended the City of New York and city employees in §1983 civil rights claims. This required Edward to investigate claims, conduct witness interviews, draft and file dispositive motions, manage discovery in high-profile cases, and negotiate settlements. Prior to the Law Department, Edward clerked for the Hon. Angelo Servidio, J.S.C., in the Hudson County Criminal Division. As a law clerk, Edward's primary responsibilities included researching evidence and criminal procedure law, drafting and editing motion and bench trial opinions, and assisting Judge Servidio in presiding over criminal trials.

In May 2023, Edward graduated from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. He served on the Villanova Law Moot Court Board and the executive board of the Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP), participated in the CARES Immigration Clinic, and worked as a Civil Procedure teaching assistant.

Prior to law school, Edward spent almost five years in Washington, D.C., working in campaign fundraising and as a congressional aide on Capitol Hill for the Honorable Suzan K. DelBene (WA-01).
