At the federal level, our work includes OSHA, FLSA and OFCCP compliance and recordkeeping, audits, investigations and litigation. On the state level, our experience with investigations and audits involving state worker’s compensation funds, state insurance departments and state labor departments allows us to best address the interest of our clients.
We know that investigations and audits can be stressful, time consuming and distracting, monopolizing the time of key personnel needed to run our clients’ businesses. Many of our clients have elected our early intervention during agency audits or inspections rather than waiting until the agency has collected its evidence and served violation notices. Our involvement has enabled our clients to respond to audits and investigations more quickly and efficiently. The experience we have also allows us to provide clients with internal compliance audits so that they can ensure they are complying with often changing government regulations regarding the employer/employee relationship.
In the event that a government agency audit or investigation results in findings of violations or fines that cannot be satisfactorily resolved without formal proceedings, we represent clients in litigation over the alleged violations and have a strong success record.
