THOMAS
W. BUDD began practice as a labor and employment attorney
in 1964 with the law firm of Buell Clifton & Turner. In 1969,
he and Henry Clifton, Jr. started the law firm that is now
known as Clifton Budd & DeMaria. Although he is experienced
in all areas of labor and employment law, his primary focus,
since he began practicing law, has been in traditional labor
matters. Over the years, he has negotiated hundreds of collective
bargaining agreements in such diverse industries as cosmetics,
printing, health care, beverage distribution, oil and chemical
and many others. He has tried numerous cases before the National
Labor Relations Board, some of which involved significant
legal issues decided by the Appellate courts.
