ROBERT
A. WIESEN joined Clifton Budd & DeMaria in 1979 after a three-year
internship at the National Labor Relations Board. He has been
a partner since 1984 and has broad experience in all areas
of labor and employment law. He represents a wide array of
employers nationwide ranging from small family-owned businesses
to large multi-national public companies. His clients include
many health care institutions, charitable enterprises and
other nonprofit organizations. Mr. Wiesen's common practice
areas include advising clients on effective strategies for
achieving their business objectives without litigation and
liability, labor negotiations, collective bargaining agreement
administration, arbitration, employment discrimination cases,
wrongful termination cases and practice before the National
Labor Relations Board in representation hearings, unfair labor
practice investigations and trials. He has successfully served
as chief spokesperson in hundreds of labor negotiations, and
he has handled hundreds of labor arbitrations.
Mr.
Wiesen has received many honors and awards including Phi Beta
Kappa membership since 1973; the American Jurisprudence Award
for Labor Law in 1975; National Labor Relations Board Awards
for Superior Performance in 1978 and 1979; inclusion in "Who's
Who in American Law" from 1988 to date; inclusion in the "Martindale-Hubbell
Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers" since 2000; and receiving
the top rating ("AV - highest levels of professional
excellence, skill and integrity") in the Martindale-Hubbell
Law Directory since 1997.
