GEORGE
F. BRENLLA has been with the firm since 1995. Mr. Brenlla
has concentrated on labor and employment litigation in federal
and state courts, as well as proceedings before government
administrative agencies, such as the National Labor Relations
Board and the various civil rights and labor agencies. In
his defense in civil rights and other litigation, he has frequently
obtained pretrial dismissal or other satisfactory conclusion
in both the federal and state courts. Mr. Brenlla has acted
as trial counsel in both state and federal courts and as counsel
at labor arbitrations. Mr. Brenlla has also successfully defended
several of his lower court victories before the appellate
courts. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Brenlla
regularly advises local, national and international clients
in employment and labor matters and commercial disputes.
In his varied management-side practice, Mr. Brenlla gives
advice and litigates issues relating to race, color, religion,
age, sex, disability and national origin discrimination, wage
and hour claims, Family and Medical Leave Act issues, employee
claims of breach of contract, defamation and other work-related
tort claims and other matters that arise in connection with
the employee-employer relationship. Mr. Brenlla has also presented
seminars on employment issues, alternate dispute resolution
and management options during union organizing.
